Hideaki Suzuki Exhibition ― Universe of Colors ―

This exhibition features works created in Japan alongside new pieces created in Jingdezhen, China.

Through figurative works, large and small plates, sake cups, and flower vases, I present a world of art that fuses the traditional techniques of Kutani ware with contemporary imagery.

By layering motifs such as figures, animals, plants, the sun, the moon, and the stars, I express a unique worldview that resonates with concepts of the cosmos and mandalas.

I hope you enjoy exploring the commonalities and shifts in these collections, which were born from the differing creative environments of Japan and Jingdezhen.
