Zelkova large bowl, Negoro

This is a large bowl by Hiroaki Yazawa.

It is a versatile bowl for daily use, perfect for rice bowls, ozoni (New Year’s soup), or soups packed with ingredients.

Similar to a Goroku-wan, it features a tall base and a beautiful Negoro finish.

Regarding capacity,

it can hold 600cc of water if filled to the very brim.

However, 300cc is considered a practical serving size.
