2024.11.30 sat. - 12.8 sun. Kenji Gomi Exhibition "Grounded"

"Grounded" means something like "stable, with feet on the ground." I like the word because it succinctly expresses the work I've been steadily building up and the impression I get from my own work, so I chose it as the title of this solo exhibition, like a table of contents for my ceramic history.

As long as time allows, I would like to create a variety of works, from pieces taller than me to palm-sized pieces. In doing so, I am strongly conscious that my works must be "ceramics that are beautifully fired and have a relaxed and beautiful appearance."

I am gritting my teeth and hoping that if such a work can be prepared, it will be great!
