The glass is painted, decorated with designs or lettering, fired, and cut. It is created through numerous processes, including assembling small parts, repeated firing, bending, carving, and polishing.

The sake cup project began at the suggestion of the owner of Savoir Vivre, and has since become a highly refined item.
