The fluid, organic form characteristic of dry lacquer feels very comfortable in the hand, making it perfect for enjoying sake.

The interior is finished in black lacquer.

The exterior features a black rust lacquer finish, adorned with ancient characters for "sake," "fish," and "pleasure" painted in tin.
